Wine & Gastronomy Region at Zapopan Mexico Guadalajara

The Epitome Of Mexican Gastronomy

Whether you have a preconceived notion of what "Mexican gastronomy" means or have been enjoying the regional foods of Mexico your whole life, we hope to introduce you to something new at our restaurant in Guadalajara. Our menu celebrates the state of Baja California, and more specifically the fresh coastal cuisine found in the city of Ensenada. Starting with the finest seafood and innovating with exotic ingredients and preparation methods, our menu celebrates the culinary traditions of Baja California while also looking towards the future of an evolving, modern cuisine.
Besides all of the edible treasures of the Pacific that can be found just off the coast of Baja California, this region is also Mexico's largest producer of fine wines. Over 70 wineries exist today, with vineyards dating back to the 16th century. From spry Sauvignon Blancs to heady, warm Nebbiolos, the region is surprisingly versatile in the number of varietals that can be dependably produced. We've carefully selected a wide variety of wines to feature, all of which pair superbly well with our menu.

Inspired By The Streets Of Ensenada

The cuisine of Ensenada is known for celebrating what's fresh from the sea, prepared by multi-generational street vendors rather than fancy chefs in professional kitchens. Our menu aims to combine the humble rusticity of Ensenada cuisine through innovative recipes that capture the hearts, and stomachs, of anyone in search of a fresh take on Mexican gastronomy.
